Lankenau Ventures collaborated with Main Line Health’s wound care nurses to evaluate out novel approach to limb care. These nurses were able to use the Rogers Limb Support in their everyday workflows and provide feedback on the design and usability of our product. This allowed us to optimize the device and validate its ability to enhance patient safety and comfort, streamline wound dressing by reducing personnel demands, and mitigate caregiver injuries.

Our product is made of ILD polyurethane foam, which maintains its structure and is ideal for supporting limbs while tending to wounds. This lightweight foam is water resistant, easy to maintain, and provides a gentle and cushioned tactile experience for patients.

COLLEEN ROGERS, RN
Colleen Rogers is the inventor of the Rogers Limb Support. The idea for the product came to her because she and her colleagues would struggle to safely lift patients’ limbs while tending to their wounds. It may take two or more nurses to properly dress a wound on a patient’s lower limbs.
The Rogers Limb Support enables wound care nurses to work more efficiently and independently.

Colleen Rogers is the inventor of the Rogers Limb Support. The idea came to her when she experienced herself and colleagues struggling while tending to patient wounds alone. It often takes two or more nurses to care for lower limbs on a patient.
With the help of the Rogers Limb Support Devices, nurses are able to work without a second nurse assistant, to focus more on their individual patients and to have a quicker turnaround time when tending to wounds.
